The Rotary Touch a Truck event is being held again this year on May 20th. Last years event held July 9, 2011 was a great success! Over 600 people showed up at Horseshoe Lake in Roxbury, NJ for gorgeous weather and the opportunity to get up close to over 60 vehicles. There were firetrucks, a pre-natal ambulance, antique cars, race cars, a dump truck, an emergency communication center, tractors, a cement truck, cranes and more. The highlight of the event was when the medivac helicopter landed and all the attendees were allowed to get up close, get in the helicopter and talk with the pilot!
This year we will have music every hour, burgers, pizza, popcorn and refreshments for all. We we look forward to delighting the children (and parents) again this year!
